Before joining the ACAC, scholarship recipient Pum Monyreth grew up in Chibodia Children’s Home, an NGO in Phnom Penh supporting children without parents. With their help, Monyreth successfully completed her high school degree and then applied for the Naomi Tami Scholarship Program to study at the Academy of Culinary Arts Cambodia (ACAC)
During her 2 years of studying at the ACAC, Monyreth tells us that she turned from a young girl into a self-confident woman, and developed a passion for what she was doing and showed great commitment to further grow and work on a successful career.
After her graduation in 2020, she immediately got employed by the renowned Hyatt Regency Hotel Phnom Penh where she is gaining more experience as a Commis. And she is continuing her studies in Hospitality at the Beltei University with the goal to make a career as tourism and hospitality expert.
