Academy of Culinary Arts Cambodia

The Academy of Culinary Arts – Cambodia (ACAC) is the country’s first world-class hospitality training school. It is Cambodia’s first Public-Private Partnership, bringing together key leaders from government and the private sector.

Through professional programming and expert staff, the Academy will change the face of the hospitality industry in Cambodia and provide critical training and employment opportunities for Cambodia’s youth.

The Academy of Culinary Arts – Cambodia (ACAC) is the country’s first world-class hospitality training school. The Academy trains up to 200 professional culinary staff each year who then help meet the growing demand for skilled staff in the hospitality industry.

The Academy is the first hospitality institution in Cambodia to offer both Cambodian and Swiss certifications.

As the country’s very first Public-Private Partnership, key stakeholders from the private and public sectors have come together to forge new opportunities for youth skill development and unemployment reduction in Cambodia through the Academy. The institution is housed in the heart of Phnom Penh, not far from the Central Market.

The 2010 Labour And Social Trends Cambodia report noted that “despite notable improvements in recent years, Cambodia faces significant challenges in building a strong human capital base and a skilled workforce responsive to its labour market needs.”

Through its professional programming and expert staff, the Academy raises the skill level of the country’s hospitality work force.
