“Driven by the credo that poverty can only be overcome through jobs, Pierre Tami from Ticino has been involved in Cambodia for 30 years. His latest project is a cooking school that aims to give young people a future in tourism.” 

Luzerner Zeitung, a Lucern newspaper took time to sit down with Pierre Tami to talk about the Academy of Culinary Arts Cambodia, poverty reduction through job creation and skills training, and living and working in Cambodia for three decades.
