Every month key leaders in the start-up sector in Lucerne, Switzerland, gather together at Smart-up – support for start-upsThe gathering is an initiative of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and hosted by Professor Rene Zeier, Head of Master’s Programmes in Business Administration. Smart-up’s aim is to motivate and enable students to put their business dreams and ideas into practice.

In October, the topic was social entrepreneurship and the discussion was moderated by the famous Swiss TV moderator, Sonja Hasler.

Pierre Tami was invited to share at Smart-Up about his life, work and experience using social entrepreneurship as a tool for skills development, job creation and poverty reduction in Asia.
